Who this covers

This policy applies to sprouthomes.com and to the information you give us when you contact us, register for a saved search, or work with one of our agents. Sprout Realty is a licensed Texas real estate brokerage affiliated with ERA. Each office is independently owned and operated.

What we collect

Information you give us. Name, email, phone, the area or property you are interested in, whether you are buying or selling, and whether you have spoken to a lender. If you become a client, we collect what a transaction requires — which may include financial details supplied to a title company or lender rather than to us.

Collected automatically. Pages viewed, referring page, approximate location from IP address, device and browser. We use this to understand which pages are useful and where people give up.

What we do not collect here. We do not ask for a Social Security number, bank details or date of birth on this website. Those belong in a lender or title company system, not a marketing site.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry; to connect you with one licensed agent; to run a saved search you asked for; to meet our obligations under Texas real estate law and MLS rules; to detect fraud; and to improve the site.

Who we share it with

With the licensed agent handling your enquiry. With service providers acting for us under contract — our CRM, hosting and analytics providers. With the MLS, title companies, inspectors and lenders where a transaction requires it. With regulators when the law requires it.

Affiliates. Sprout Realty shares common ownership with Loan Lab Lending and Sprout Roofing. If we refer you to either, you receive a written Affiliated Business Arrangement disclosure at the time of referral, and you are never required to use an affiliated company as a condition of anything.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not resell your enquiry to a panel of competing agents or to a lead aggregator.

Contact by phone, text and email

If you tick the consent box on a form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text or email about your enquiry. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or telling your agent. Marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link and our physical address, as CAN-SPAM requires.

Your rights under Texas law

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the right to confirm whether we process their personal data, to access it, to correct it, to request deletion, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We verify identity before acting and respond within the period the statute allows. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.

Some records must be retained regardless of a deletion request, because Texas real estate law and MLS rules require it.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still function. We do not use advertising cookies to follow you around other websites.

Listing data

Property information on this site is provided by Unlock MLS under a license and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Saved searches and favorites are stored so we can send you what you asked for; you can delete them at any time.

Security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to your information to the people who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for the periods Texas law requires.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
